Scholarship Application

Since 1983, RRHA has offered educational scholarships to residents. To date, 112 residents have received scholarships that have enabled them to pursue a college education.

Scholarship applications are available every year in March at each public housing development, the Section 8 Department and on our website. The deadline is May 17th at 5 PM.

Additionally, the Virginia Association of Housing and Community Development Officials (VAHCDO) provides scholarships to students in public housing and housing choice voucher programs who have been outstanding scholars.
